Pursuing research endeavours at a young age can appear daunting for many individuals. When posed with the question, many ask "Well, how can I get started on a project anyway?" With the vast amount of resources and statistical software already out there, it can be difficult to distill the vast expanse of information to what is necessary for successfully carrying out a research project. In addition, HS research classes can tend to prioritize the completion aspect of research when in fact, high-quality research almost always takes significant time and effort before results are achieved. 

The VAI intends to spearhead its brand-new Youth Research Program with the goal of promoting high-quality high school medical research and increasing research opportunities for individuals of all skill levels. At the VAI, we believe that with the right tools and the right mindset, any individual can conduct high-quality research in the field of their interest.
